The Thrivability Matters Webinar is a monthly online gathering, whereby invited experts expose science-based sustainability learnings, through sharing their experience and knowledge. This month, we will discuss how we produce and use the goods we rely on in our everyday lives and beyond, and how we can reduce the impacts of creating, transporting and consuming these goods. We have the following speakers: Geoffrey Brian Ebbs Geoffrey Ebbs is a researcher and lecturer at Griffith University with a diverse background in tech, media, eco-startups, politics, broadcasting and publishing. His current research focuses on food systems and the impact of beliefs on decision-making in the face of change. Geoff is the author of several books, including the best-selling Living on the Web for Dummies, and Your Life, Your Planet, where he combines his expertise to offer practical insights on navigating the digital world and sustainability. Sofia Katzin Food Technologist by degree turned into entomologist by passion. Sofia Katzin is a big advocate for sustainability. Her mission is to transform food waste into valuable products in the food chain. Currently consulting for the Black Soldier Fly industry globally, on the technical side of things, she loves to share my knowledge and make people love bugs! Amar Singh Yadav Amar Singh Yadav is a GRI-certified professional with an MBA in Sustainability Management from TERI University, and has lead Aseries Envirotek India Pvt. Ltd. for the past 7 years, gaining valuable experience in compliance execution. Passionate about delivering environmental services, his organisation drives innovative solutions that help businesses balance profitability with sustainability, ensuring a lasting positive impact on society.
